Overview

There are three facilitators in Achievement Concepts; Stephen Klemich, Mara Klemich and Ross Orwin. When you contact Achievement Concepts you will deal with either Stephen, Mara or Ross. Either of them will run your programme, dealing directly with you during the engagement, delivery and follow up of any initiative. When appropriate, the facilitator who is managing a progamme will draw from a pool of contractors to meet your needs.

Stephen Klemich – Managing Director

Stephen KlemichStephen has been consulting and facilitaing since 1987, when he founded AC. Stephen's vision and passion is to coach and transform individuals and organisations in the 21st Century to achieve a more sustainable and holistic way of doing business, through his model – Fourth Dimension Culture®. In order to implement his vision and to "practice what he preaches" Stephen leads and manages AC in a structure of five business units that deliver consulting services to clients.

Stephen has a corporate background in sales, marketing and management in the manufacturing, retail and technology industries. He has worked with medium and large companies across a broad range of industries from manufacturing to professional services. He has blended his studies in psychology, theology, sales, management and values to bring down-to-earth practical experience and wisdom to the facilitation arena.

Stephen is the author of Retail Revival - "How to Achieve High Performance in Sales and Customer Service" and currently working on his next book "Fruit of the Heart" explaining the model Fourth Dimension Culture®. His expertise lies in culture and people development and how that impacts on performance and the bottom line. His wide experience in a very broad range of industries has furthered his objectivity and global perspective. As a facilitator, Stephen has a proven record of achievement, always listening, analysing, and in particular summarising and action planning to meet the objectives. Stephen regularly takes the role of catalyst in his sessions: he does not play games and says it how it is!

Some of Stephen's assignments have been to facilitate:
  • The direction of culture development for organisations in the recruitment, storage, finance, medical, computer and publishing industries.
  • A national culture measurement and feedback process for a computer software organisation and a private education organisation in the finance industry.
  • Strategic consultant to a start up web based e-tailer organisation and a web design organisation.
  • A culture measurement for an organisation and individual 360° feedback for senior managers to increase the effectiveness of an organisation in the computer industry.
  • The Strategic Plan of the senior ministers/management team of a church.
  • Leadership development programmes in the fast food industry for the past ten years.
  • One-on-One coaching and counselling for management and staff from various industries.

Mara Klemich – Consulting Psychologist

Mara KlemichMara Klemich is a Consulting Psychologist and partner with Achievement Concepts. She has spent 12 years as a broad based Human Resource Management and Development Consultant, in adjunct to her work as a Corporate Psychologist.

Experience

Mara has over eighteen years experience as a Psychologist in both the public and private sector. Her experience allows her to offer a broad range of skills to companies from a human resource consulting perspective, utilising her psychology skills to hone in on the micro issues at the individual and divisional level, and then address the broader strategic issues from an organisational perspective.

Mara’s initial career was as a Neuropsychologist in the specialised fields of head injury and alcohol related brain damage. Her early career was in assessment and behaviour modification programme design, as well as extensive one to one and group counselling. In her work as a Corporate Psychologist, Mara specialises in developing leaders and managers through coaching and counselling, and uses her diagnostic expertise to assess individuals’ capabilities through the use of intellectual and personality profiling, to ensure job “fit” and development. Her expertise is at senior executive down to middle management levels. During the last few years, Mara has tended to work at senior executive levels, in the areas of coaching and personal development to effect constructive change at the professional level.

Mara’s strengths are in leadership coaching and in the use of psychological assessment techniques to effect individual and group change within organisations. Her varied expertise includes the design and delivery of assessment and development centres, performance measurement and appraisal, and behavioural interview methodologies. Mara is committed to ensuring that psychological assessment and profiling can be used effectively to build successful teams for organisations when recruiting candidates, and to develop leadership skills in senior executives in order to promote effective and constructive cultures.

Mara’s professional skills are also utilised as a supervisor to psychologists in training, and in part-time lecturing to psychology and counselling students. She also practised as a Forensic Neuropsychologist in the criminal assessment arena in addition to her corporate career.

Ross Orwin – Consultant/Facilitator

Ross OrwinRoss is a consultant/facilitator with Achievement Concepts. Ross has spent over a decade in different managerial, consulting and facilitation roles in South Africa, and co-founded a consulting company specialising in facilitating key decisions around talent management and human capital processes.

Ross has worked with small, medium and corporate organisations, both private and government throughout Southern Africa, and has relocated to Australia to work with Achievement Concepts.

Ross is passionate about facilitating and witnessing change and transformation in people’s thinking and behaviour, and consults around the impact this has on the market-place and in organisations. To this, Ross uses his coaching and facilitation skills in bringing about constructive thinking, and implementing this change within a team or organisation.

Some of his more recent assignments include:
  • Team development facilitation with one of Australia’s leading electronics retails chains.
  • Facilitation of personal development programme for an Australian and New Zealand media company.
  • Team facilitation of a South African mission’s and outreach organisation focused on relieving poverty in Southern Africa.
Besides spending time with his family, Ross enjoys the outdoors – climbing, running and hiking.

Ross holds a certification in Information Technology, a certification in marketing, and is a qualified advanced life and business coach certified through UNISA (University of South Africa). He is a South African national and is married and has a daughter and a son.
