Leadership & Management – Yum! Restaurants International

Yum team rope tensionIn 1992 KFC & Pizza Hut Restaurants (now part of Yum! International Restaurants www.yum.com KFC Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Long John Silver) introduced a Leadership Development Programme (LDP) to develop their regional managers. For more than 10 years, Yum! International Restaurants, has engaged AC to conduct at least three of these programmes per year every year.

The LDP is positioned as a High Achievers programme, for managers and “up and coming” people in the organisation. Each year there is a waiting list to get on the LDP, and this has created a positive reward for those who are proactive achievers in Yum!

The LDP consists of indoor facilitation of problem solving, decision making and communication models, 360 degree profiles, leadership and management skills, interpersonal skills, and outdoor experiential learning activities.
